“Music is our refuge, the abyss where we can breathe, the reality in which we find ourselves.”
Talk To Her are an Italian band whose sound ranges from post-punk to electronic music, from new wave to alternative rock, with introspective themes tied to suffering, desire, and the need to define one’s own identity in this world. In 2018 they released the EP “Home”, followed in 2020 by the album “Love Will Come Again”, garnering excellent feedback from audiences, magazines, and international webzines. Following the release of their debut album, the band focused on live performances, culminating in two European tours and taking part in several prestigious festivals (Wave Gotik Treffen, Sinner’s Day, Post Punk Strikes Back Again, Monitor, and more).
In 2025 they released their second LP “Pleasure Loss Desire”, exploring new sounds compared to their previous work: the themes linked to the emotional and passionate sphere give way to alienation, suffering, fear, and the overall sound as well as the vocals become colder yet more aggressive. While still retaining the wave influences, especially in some tracks, the post-punk component is predominant and enriched with strong contaminations from post- and alternative rock of the late ’90s and early 2000s.
OBSEXED
Gli OBSEXED sono una noise post-punk band bolognese formata da Marco Scarabel e Angelo “Gelo” Casarrubia.
Dopo oltre quindici anni di amicizia ed esperienze condivise in varie band, durante la pandemia decidono di creare un duo iniziando a scrivere e comporre canzoni insieme.
Ne nasce un primo EP omonimo che è specchio fedele e brutale di quel periodo: uno sguardo apocalittico su un’umanità perduta, minacciata da un’entità spaventosa dai tratti indefiniti che, come un parassita infestante, si annida silentemente nella sua vittima e la consuma dall’interno. Una creatura malata nella sua essenza più profonda, viscerale. Un mostro metaforico – ritratto anche nella copertina ad opera dell’artista Guido Volpi – la cui presenza opprimente stringe tutte le canzoni in una morsa senza scampo.
4 atti che conducono un’inquieta esplorazione del disagio pandemico e odierno, tra riti voodoo e danze tribali, in un crescendo mostruoso di sonorità oscure e disturbanti. Fra gli spettri di questo incubo ancestrale dominano pulsazioni malate di basso, loop vorticosi di chitarra e droni siderali che, come archi sonici sul punto di implodere, vanno a plasmare un wall of sound psichedelico, ipnotico, quasi liturgico. Una cerimonia rituale intensa e dilaniante, dove la voce sembra provenire dall’interno di una bara e ogni strumento suona buttando fuori un impeto primordiale, violento. Tutto così magnetico da stregare.
